Thought the worst thing that could happen to your favorite streaming shows was for them to get cancelled? Think again, as Disney Plus and Hulu are about to enact a shocking purge of their platforms that will remove a whopping total of 50 movies and TV series from their libraries, thereby ensuring that these titles will no longer be able to viewed in any form.

The dozens of junked productions include several high-profile and star-studded projects that were once hyped as exciting additions to Disney Plus or Hulu’s line-ups, as well as many gems that deserved to get the chance to cultivate a cult audience over time. Certain series have already wrapped up, but others only just aired a few short months ago and this is how we’re finding out we’ll never see them again.

As originally reported by Deadline, Disney is wiping these 50 titles from Disney Plus and Hulu as part of cost-cutting measures, amid a major corporate restructuring that’s also seeing 7,000 employees let go worldwide. All titles will be removed from streaming on May 26, so here’s every film and series you need to hurry up and binge like crazy before it’s too late.

Disney Plus

Coming just days after we found out it was being cancelled one season in, Willow is being hit with the worst blow of all as the Lucasfilm fantasy, starring Warwick Davis, becomes the flagship show for those shockingly being purged from Disney Plus. Other notable productions soon to be obliterated include fellow revamps of classic IPs like Turner & Hooch, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, and the Cheaper By the Dozen remake. Not to mention docuseries The World According to Jeff Goldblum (which was wildly promoted upon Disney Plus’ launch in 2019) and even three series carrying the indomitable Marvel brand.

Hulu

While considerably fewer titles are being removed from Hulu than sister service Disney Plus, its losses will still hit subscribers hard as they comprise several notable series, including a number of its collaborations with FXX. Sci-fi comic book adaptation Y: The Last Man is among them as is Kat Dennings comedy Dollface and even supernatural adult animation Little Demon. Starring Danny DeVitio and Aubrey Plaza, this one had a lot of positive buzz surrounding it when it launched last fall, but Hulu had been quiet about the chances of its renewal for months. Now we know it’s not just cancelled but also becoming unstreamable.

Time is ticking, so get streaming these soon-to-be gone gems ASAP.
